Dear friends,

as always, we have some exciting news to share. To begin with, BlueTraker recently became the world's first and only certified A4 Sea Area manufacturer
of LRIT and SSAS Arctic terminals for the Russian market.

Our range of Arctic voyage capable terminals for Long-range identification and tracking of ships as well as Ship security and alert systems have been granted Type Approval Certificate from
Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

We are proud of this achievement, which reaffirms Bluetraker as the world's leading manufacturer of maritime tracking technology, and at the same time, opens new possibilities in the growing production of LNG carriers that use shorter and economically viable Northern Arctic Route compared to traditional maritime routes.

SecondScreen, better and better
Fleet managers in the BlueTraker VMS segment will appreciate the news that our proprietary SecondScreen application is growing and maturing.
SecondScreen offers a range of diagnostic and navigation controls, including real-time Vessel Tracking and Geofence management, fast and simple messaging from FMC operators to vessel managers and remote commands. Recently it has seen many under-the-hood performance improvements as well as a set of brand new features.

FleetStat screen with device activity overview

A new addition is the Vessel Register to access and edit different device activity data and fishing gear equipment. eLogBook functionalities display catch reports, events locations, and individual trips overview. Both are fully integrated into SecondScreen.

Another useful addition is the Fishermen account management. Fleet managers can create subaccounts for fishermen to individually track their vessel on the map, read messages sent from their VMS device, etc. The Alerting system offers settings for map display, statistics overview, acknowledgment and deactivation of alert messages.

Voyage replay feature with historical data display for every individual vessel

In terms of user experience, we added three new base layer maps (ESRI ArcGIS, OpenStreetBlackAndWhite, Stamen Terrain) and two new languages (Vietnam, Myanmar). With GeoZone Manager updates and mobile view adjustments to name but a few, the SecondScreen interface offers a whole new user experience.

BlueTraker is becoming indispensable on luxury cruisers and superyachts

After merging with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises became the largest cruise ship operator in the world. There are currently ten large top-class cruisers in the fleet and over half of them are already equipped with BlueTraker LRIT and SSAS Arctic terminals. Our goal? To provide the whole fleet.

The last cruiser in the Celebrity fleet with BlueTraker Arctic onboard is Celebrity Silhouette (IMO 9451094). This stunning cruiser with occupancy of 2898 passengers offers premium award-winning itineraries ranging from Northern Europe to South America.

A video of what it's like on board Celebrity Silhouette says more than a thousand words
With Arctic regions becoming more and more accessible for the seasonal exploration and adventurous navigation, the superyacht is yet another segment where BlueTraker Arctic terminals prove indispensable.

Dear friends,

first of all, we wanted to sincerely thank all of you for visiting us at Metstrade 2019 a few weeks ago. We are grateful for the opportunity to introduce you to the BlueTraker world of unique products and solutions.

We know you are an incredibly busy person and we are grateful for your time. It was a pleasure and we hope to meet you again sometime very soon.

For those still unfamiliar with the BlueTraker product line, an invitation stands to visit our website before a better opportunity arises.

Two new exclusive distributors for China

After a successful presentation at Metstrade 2019 in Amsterdam, we had to catch another tradeshow before the year is over – The Marintec 2019 in Shanghai, China. The majority of newly built ships in Chinese shipyards are designed for navigation in the so-called A4 area, where extreme polar conditions prevail.

As the world's only manufacturer of Long Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT) and Ship Security and Alert System (SSAS) terminals for sea voyages in the A4 area, BlueTraker brand name was in high demand in Shanghai.

The highlight of Marintec Shanghai tradeshow for BlueTraker was sealing an agreement with two new business partners and exclusive distributors of our LRIT and SSAS solutions in China.

Welcoming Myanmar into BlueTraker VMS Family

We are proud to announce that Myanmar officially joined our ever-expanding BlueTraker VMS family. With the help of our local partner Compumatics Technology Ltd., BlueTraker equipped a large part of Myanmar's fishing fleet with the latest generation of Vessel Monitoring System all around the Myanmar coast.

Our engineers provided all the information and official training about the BlueTraker technology and successfully educated selected local technicians for equipment installation on fishing vessels. The Myanmar BlueTraker VMS equipped fishing fleet will further grow in the following months.

The world's largest B2B marine equipment trade show METSTRADE 2019 is just around the corner, and we would once again like to invite you to visit us in Amsterdam at booth 05.373.

Business or casual, everybody is most welcome to stop by. Our team will gladly assist with any of your inquiries..

To book an appointment ahead of Metstrade 2019, please contact us at [email protected] or call us at + 386 3 428 48 00.

Register for a FREE ticket

If you happen to visit Amsterdam during METSTRADE, allow us to kindly invite you to register for a FREE ticket. Only personal invitations extended by exhibitors enable our business partners free online registration at all times up to and until the show! When the tradeshow kicks off, a registration fee of € 70 will be charged.

It will be all about BlueTraker ARCTIC

The recent success of commercial Arctic Sea voyages with BlueTraker terminals onboard is reason enough to put Arctic versions of LRIT and SSAS terminals to this year's storefront in Amsterdam. Visit us on Metstrade for a hands-on demonstration!

COMING SOON - B2B portal for Partners

We are excited to announce to our official partners and distributors that a dedicated B2B portal for online ordering and restocking is in the final testing stage and will be live in the coming weeks. Authorized distributors will be invited to register for an account. Those who would want to become our partners and distributors can meanwhile register here.

Before we go, if you haven't visited our website recently, you're probably missing out a lot. It is completely refreshed with easier navigation, comprehensive content and redesigned imagery. In some areas, it may be still a work in progress that's why we would appreciate your constructive feedback.
